Tony Guarino – Sunshine Roofinig

We built Tony a basic WordPress template, and created or filled in the social media tools appropriate for his business and set him off on a course to master internet marketing.

My dad was pretty good at fixing whatever needed to be fixed to run a business.

Growing up, we had a restaurant, greenhouse, a nursery, newspapers and printing business that all had a variety of issues and problems. My dad somehow knew how to operate in all of those areas getting done what needed to be done to be successful.

I recently met a guy who had similar characteristics that was in the roofing business. His name is Tony Guarino, with Sunshine Roofing.

I met Tony at a networking event, and he had a great curiosity about the internet and social media marketing.

He had quite a bit of knowledge about web building and had mastered a difficult platform to build his own site.

He’d asked me to look at his website and offer some suggestions. At the time, he had created a couple of social media platforms, but only had links on his site. The site was pretty much just a directory, with no ability to perform outreach.

Sunshine Roofing Website300by306“Tony, you’re a pretty amazing guy to create your website, using a very tech heavy module. Why don’t you use a simpler format that could make your life easier, and have a greater potential to market yourself?” I asked him.

He paused a bit and then wanted to know more.

You see, Tony is one of those folks that like to figure things out, and do things for himself. He built himself a great business and reputation in the roofing business by getting to the bottom of things and making things work properly.

After we explained how utilizing multiple web platforms to compliment each other, and demonstrated how each one can multiply the effects of the other, he took note and wanted to learn more.

We built Tony a basic WordPress template, and created or filled in the social media tools appropriate for his business and set him off on a course to master internet marketing.

We talk regularly about what he’s doing, and methods to improve. He’s like a sponge, and takes it all in, and experiments.

This story was done to give him an example of how to use You Tube on the blog site, and take advantage of the power of the social media tools by tagging and cross platform promotion.

If you enjoyed this blog post, thank Tony. We owe it all to his curious mind. His business is Sunshine Roofing, and can be found here.

I’d put m trust in him for my roofing needs.

Hear/Watch Tony’s assessment below on how he uses social media to build his website’s strength.
